Connect an Agent

Other AI apps

Check whether your AI app can connect to MoraWP and configure its remote MCP endpoint.

An AI app needs remote MCP over HTTP and browser OAuth to connect to MoraWP. Support for local MCP processes alone is not enough. A place to paste an API key does not mean the app supports this connection method.

Check your app's documentation

Look for instructions for adding a remote MCP server with OAuth authorization. Account or organization policy may limit this feature. If your app only accepts static tokens, it cannot use MoraWP's OAuth-only connection that way.

Add MoraWP

  1. Open the app's remote MCP server settings.
  2. Name the entry MoraWP and enter:
    https://api.morawp.com/mcp

  3. Select HTTP/Streamable HTTP if the app asks for a transport.
  4. Start its OAuth sign-in. Do not add a static Authorization header.
  5. Review and approve the connection in MoraWP.
  6. Return to the app and enable the server in the session where you will use it.

The exact settings and buttons belong to your AI app. If it requires a manually issued client secret or cannot complete browser sign-in, keep the error details and check its remote MCP documentation rather than inventing credentials.

Verify with a read

Ask the app:

Use MoraWP to list the websites this connection is allowed to access.
Do not make changes. If access fails, show the error without retrying a write.

Check that the intended website appears. Then follow Read one page.

If no tools are available, check both the app's session settings and the connection's status in MoraWP. See Agent connection problems and Missing Abilities.

Stop access

Disconnect the connection in MoraWP's Agents page, then remove the local server entry from your app. Keep other configured servers intact.
