Connect an Agent

Grok Bot

Give xAI's Grok Bot access to MoraWP as a custom MCP server.

Grok Bot is xAI's personal agent that runs on its own cloud computer. You add MoraWP to it from a chat, as a custom MCP server.

Add MoraWP

  1. In a Grok Bot chat, ask it to add a custom MCP server named MoraWP with this address:
    https://mcp.morawp.com/mcp

  2. Grok Bot posts a sign-in card. Open it, sign in to MoraWP in the browser, and approve access in MoraWP. Do not add a static Authorization header.

Approve and check access

First connect a WordPress website in MoraWP. When sign-in opens, review the Workspace, websites, and Ability access before approving.

Then ask Grok Bot:

Use MoraWP to list the websites this connection can access.
Do not create, edit, delete, or publish anything.

Check: the intended website appears. Then read one page to check WordPress access.

If it does not work

What you seeNext step
The bot installs a different pluginAsk again for a custom MCP server with the MoraWP address.
MoraWP is added but has no toolsFinish its sign-in, then see Missing Abilities.

To stop access, disconnect the Agent in MoraWP and remove the MoraWP server in Grok Bot. Removing it in Grok Bot alone does not revoke MoraWP access.
