Connect an Agent

OpenClaw

Add MoraWP to OpenClaw as a remote MCP server and sign in with OAuth.

OpenClaw is a personal agent you run yourself. It connects to MoraWP as a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP and signs in with OAuth, so you never paste a key.

Add MoraWP

  1. Add the server from a terminal on the computer that runs OpenClaw:
    Terminal
    openclaw mcp add morawp --url https://mcp.morawp.com/mcp --transport streamable-http

  2. Turn on OAuth for the morawp entry in your OpenClaw configuration:
    {
      mcp: {
        servers: {
          morawp: {
            url: "https://mcp.morawp.com/mcp",
            transport: "streamable-http",
            auth: "oauth",
          },
        },
      },
    }

    MoraWP registers OpenClaw automatically, so no client ID or secret is needed.
  3. Sign in. Either choose Sign in for MoraWP in Settings → MCP, or stop the OpenClaw Gateway and run:
    Terminal
    openclaw gateway stop
    openclaw mcp login morawp

    Open the printed address, then approve access in MoraWP. Start the Gateway again when sign-in finishes.
  4. Check the connection:
    Terminal
    openclaw mcp doctor morawp --probe

    Expected result: the doctor connects and lists MoraWP's tools.

Approve and check access

First connect a WordPress website in MoraWP. When sign-in opens, review the Workspace, websites, and Ability access before approving.

Then ask OpenClaw:

Use MoraWP to list the websites this connection can access.
Do not create, edit, delete, or publish anything.

Check: the intended website appears. Then read one page to check WordPress access.

If it does not work

What you seeNext step
HTTP 401 from the doctorSign in again with openclaw mcp login morawp.
The browser cannot reach the sign-in callbackUse the --code command OpenClaw prints after sign-in.
No MoraWP tools in a conversationCheck that the morawp entry is enabled, then see Missing Abilities.

To stop access, disconnect the Agent in MoraWP and remove the morawp entry from OpenClaw. Removing it locally alone does not revoke MoraWP access.
